Single and Assuredly Feminine

Upon Mag's recommendation, I visited http://www.carolynmcculley.com/ .

The website starts with something to this effect: "Many of us find ourselves labelled as single or married, but that's not our most important identity."

Many women feel less feminine because , even though they really yearn to get married and have kids , they have not been able to do so for some reason.

Many women feel that they are somehow less feminine , less desirable, or less complete - because they are single.

While we can rejoice with those who are married and have kids, we who are single need not feel less feminine. We can rejoice with those who marry and have kids. At the same time, we can rejoice in our own femininity & how our unique femalehood can be a blessing to ourselves and to others. We are whole . We can rejoice in how God made us unique and God made us female. We can rejoice in our femininity that brings gifts different from those given to our brothers.

We can express our femininity in the ways we nurture , encourage and support others around us.
